New Security Enhancements for the WiFi 350

Last Updated: Feb 15, 2017 10:23AM EST
Firmware v8.13 provides important security enhancements, helping to ensure your monitoring environment is in compliance with best practices. SSH is now disabled, and the device's built in interface can no longer be accessed remotely via it's IP address. The device UI will still be accessible, but only if a computer is directly connected to it via Ethernet cable on the PC port using the 10.99.99.1 address.

Please download the newest firmware v8.13 here.

If you’re new to flashing firmware, please follow these instructions, which walk you through the update process.

For additional protection, we also recommend changing your device's password from the default setting to something unique and secure. If you’re unable to update to the newest firmware due to owning a legacy device, we recommend changing your device’s password to increase its security.
*Note: Firmware v8.13 is not available for legacy devices.
